SECTION 4. FEES, DUES, AND ASSESSMENTS

  1. (a) Dues for any primary Color Guard, Percussion, or Winds unit will be $600.00.
  2. (b) Dues for a second Color Guard, Percussion, or Winds unit from the same parent organization will be $525.00.
  3. (c) Dues for a third Color Guard, Percussion, or Winds unit (or fourth, fifth, etc.) from the same parent organization will be $450.
  4. (d) TCGC classifies units as a second, third, etc. unit from the same parent organization that is in the same category only. For example, an organization with two Color Guards would pay for one primary unit and one second unit. If that organization also has a Percussion group, they would also owe dues for a primary Percussion unit.
  5. (e) Unit dues may be paid by cash, check, money order, or any online payment system that the circuit has available.
  6. ( f ) A championships fee may be assessed to each competing unit.
  7. ( g ) Unit dues will be accepted beginning the Monday after the fall meeting, of each year and must be accompanied by official TCGC entry forms. Postmark date will be taken from the envelope containing payment only. Dues are refundable within fourteen days of postmark.
  8. ( h ) A visiting unit may compete in any show sanctioned by the Texas Color Guard Circuit, except Championships, for a fee of $150.00. They will be scored and ranked as any other unit, and receive appropriate awards. If a new first-year unit wants to become a part of the Circuit after trying one show, they will be allowed to join the circuit late, and have the $150.00 apply towards their dues. They will not be eligible for Championships (unless all normal Circuit requirements are met).
