Christa Fuselier is a new member to the TCGC family having started her role as our
bookkeeper in 2025. Christa has a rich background in the Arts and Guard world over the past 30
years.
Christa was a member of the Color Guard at Dayton High School and then McNeese State
University. She then served as Color Guard sponsor and choreographer at Dayton High School
for 2 years.
Over the years, she has served in multiple capacities within the art world including directing,
costuming, make-up, and sets for community and Jr. High theater productions and Booster
President for Iowa Colony Band and Guard Boosters for four years.
Christa and her husband, Derrick, have six children together ranging in age from 15-24 with 4
currently in high school where they participate in guard, choir, cheer, dance, football, and
wrestling.

Sara Bryant serves as a Contest Director for the Texas Color Guard Circuit, where she brings organization, teamwork, and a deep passion for the performing arts to every event. Known for her flexibility, Sara can step into nearly any contest staff position, ensuring smooth, efficient, and enjoyable experiences for performers, directors, and audiences alike.
Outside of TCGC, Sara works as a Sales Representative in the chemical industry, where she excels in communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving. She values collaboration and precision in every role she takes on—qualities that seamlessly carry over into her work with TCGC.
Sara takes pride in contributing to a community that celebrates creativity, growth, and excellence. Her leadership reflects the spirit of TCGC: fostering memorable experiences and supporting performers as they share their passion on the floor.

Kellie Whitley proudly serves as a Contest Director with the Texas Color Guard Circuit (TCGC). Known for her friendly personality and “jump in wherever needed” attitude, she loves helping contests run smoothly and creating positive experiences for performers and volunteers alike.
During the week, Kellie works as an International Logistics Specialist at Huntsman, coordinating global shipments and keeping things moving across borders and time zones. Outside of work, she enjoys playing French horn in local community bands and caring for her ever-growing collection of plants.
Kellie’s favorite part of TCGC is the sense of community and watching performers light up the floor as their hard work comes to life.

From the greater San Antonio area, Zachary Crist is going into his second year as Contest Director for the West side of the Circuit. He previously served as assistant contest director for three years. Outside of the Texas Color Guard Circuit, Zach enjoys playing with his dog and running a local Little Caesars.

Gregory (Greg) Llacer has been a pageantry arts adjudicator and clinician since 1989,
judging field show, winter guard, and percussion competitions nationwide. He adjudicates
for Bands of America Regional, Super Regional, and Grand National Championships; Drum
Corps International regular season and World Championships; and Winter Guard
International Winds Regional and World Championships, along with other regional and
State Championship contests. Greg is a former color guard and field show designer,
originally from San Diego, CA. He also has served in leadership roles across the pageantry
arts, as a member of the Board of Directors for WGASC (from which he is recipient of the
Order of Excellence and Hall of Fame honors), as Chief Judge for WGASC and the Texas
Color Guard Judges Association, and as a former member of the Field Adjudication
Steering Committee for SCSBOA.
Greg lives in the mountain town of Placitas, New Mexico. A learning scientist at Harvard
University for the past 20 years, he currently is the Global Director of the Amgen Scholars
Program, coordinating 25 of the world’s most prestigious academic institutions in
biotechnology study and research training for undergraduates.

Jason Harvey currently serves as the Director of Bands at La Porte High School in La Porte, Texas. In this role, he conducts the Wind Ensemble, assists with the development and instruction of the other wind bands, and oversees the curriculum for both the marching and concert band programs.
In addition to his educational leadership, Mr. Harvey is a respected visual adjudicator for the Winter Guard International (WGI) Percussion Division. His extensive adjudication experience includes work with numerous regional circuits across the country, including MAPS, SCGC, SAPA, GCGPC, CWEA, IPA, MIA, FFCC, TCGC, NTCA, MEPA, OPIA, SCPA, NCPA, and RMPA.
Mr. Harvey currently serves as the Percussion Judge Administrator for both the Texas Color Guard Circuit (TCGC) and the North Texas Color Guard Association (NTCA). He has held these leadership positions for the past twelve and ten years, respectively. In this capacity, he oversees judge training and development, coordinates judging assignments, and upholds the WGI percussion adjudication philosophy across both circuits.
Mr. Harvey's involvement in the marching arts spans more than two decades. He performed with the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps from 1990 to 1992 and with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from 1993 to 1996, where he was a member of the 1995 DCI World Championship corps. Following his age-out year, he continued his involvement with The Cavaliers as a member of their visual staff.
From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Harvey served as the director and visual caption head for Velocity Indoor Percussion, an independent open-class ensemble based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Under his leadership, Velocity was a consistent WGI World Championships finalist, earning a PIA silver medal in 2002 and a PIO bronze medal in 2004.
Mr. Harvey holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and completed postgraduate studies as a graduate assistant at the University of South Carolina. He is an active member of the Texas Bandmasters Association and the Texas Music Educators Association.
