Churchill Fulshear HS is seeking a driven and experienced guard director to lead the a competitive and growing program outside of Houston, TX in Lamar CISD. The guard has been a WGI Regional Finalist multiple times in recent years and supports both a Varsity and JV guard at the high school. Additionally, the Leaman JH Guard (Fulshear Cadets) has been a consistent medalist and participant in the Texas Color Guard Circuit. The high school has over 40 members with 2 competitive groups and the junior high has over 75 members and 2 competitive groups as well.
The CHARGER BAND is a strong, established and competitive program. The band has attended the UIL State Marching Contest 3 times in its 10 year history finishing as a finalist in 2018. Additionally, the band has also repeatedly been a BOA Regional Finalist and past class champion. The winter percussion
Seeking a candidate with: strong instructional skills, an ability to build/foster community among members and staff, an ability to help create a vision for the guard program, desire to help students achieve at the highest levels possible inside and outside of the program.
