Lago Vista High School is seeking a Color Guard Director/Instructor for the 2026–2027 school year!
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and student-centered instructor to lead our color guard program and help continue building a positive and successful culture.
Responsibilities include:
* Teach and develop the color guard program during marching season.
* Choreograph the fall marching show.
* Attend rehearsals, football games, competitions, and performances.
* Teach the daily Color Guard class (1:50–2:35 p.m.).
* Work collaboratively with the band staff to provide students with a high-quality educational experience.
Compensation:
* $100 per rehearsal/day
* $1,000 choreography stipend
* Approximately $3,000 total compensation for the season
Important Dates:
* Color Guard Camp: July 20–24
* Marching Band Camp: Begins immediately following guard camp
